The Advisory Board of Unidas, created in 2020, is composed of around 22 prominent representatives from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Germany, ensuring a balanced composition between regions. Its members are appointed for periods of two to four years and provide strategic advice for the network’s programmatic development on issues of gender equality, human rights, and inclusive development.
The Board brings together political decision-makers, such as members of parliaments, alongside young voices and representatives of marginalized groups. Since its creation, it has held annual or biennial hybrid meetings, consolidating a diverse and transregional space for dialogue in favor of equity and international cooperation.
