Dr. Astrid Bosch
Astrid is originally from Resistencia, Argentina, where she grew up and graduated as a lawyer before moving to Buenos Aires. There, she worked as an Assistant Prosecutor, served as an advisor on Human Rights and Public Security issues in the National Parliament and the Buenos Aires City Parliament, and worked as a professor of Criminal Procedure Law. With a scholarship from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, she moved to Germany, where she graduated as a criminologist in Hamburg. She later completed her PhD in Criminal Law and Criminology at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. With more than 20 years of experience in development cooperation, she has worked in Bolivia, Colombia, Pakistan, and Germany, on projects in the areas of rule of law, governance, interculturalism, and gender. Since 2021, she has been coordinating the rule of law component of the LAK-FSDRIO project. In January 2025, she became the Head of Project at LAK-FSDRIO.

Amely Dütthorn
Amely is originally from Berlin and studied Portuguese and Italian with a focus on translation at the Humboldt University of Berlin. As part of her studies at the Faculty of Law, she also specialized in Brazilian law. Her professional path has included positions at the Ibero-American Institute in Berlin, the German-Brazilian Society, and the Brazilian Embassy in Berlin. Her work experience ranges from the conception and organization of events to project management – always in a political and intercultural context. Since 2015, she has been working for GIZ. Within the Latin America and Caribbean Initiative of the German Federal Foreign Office, she is active in the component "Political Dialogue and Communication" and co-coordinates the Unidas Women's Network.

Ana Julia Leiva
Ana is originally from Guatemala City and grew up in a small town near Mainz, Germany. She studied Cultural Anthropology and Political Science in Nijmegen, Netherlands, and Córdoba, Argentina, and completed her master’s degree at the Latin American Institute of the Free University of Berlin. Her career includes work on LGBTIQA+ rights, strengthening democracy, human rights, and gender equality in trade unions and the labor sector, always from an activist perspective, within foundations and at the institutional level. In addition to collaborating on the coordination of Unidas, she supports recruitment for projects in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia within GIZ International Services, and coordinates a working group focused on integrating gender perspectives into their projects.

Marcos Pacheco Soto
Marcos grew up in Concepción, Chile, before moving to China to complete his secondary education. A political scientist from Bates College, USA, he received a scholarship to study Politics and European Studies at the Free University of Berlin. He is currently pursuing a Master's in International Affairs at the Hertie School, Berlin. Marcos has provided legal support to asylum seekers and victims of violence at the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project (ILAP) in the USA and collaborated with Justicia Transicional México (JTMX) on research into armed violence, criminal governance, and transitional justice. At Amnesty International, he contributes to OSINT research and coordinates human rights work on Angola in Germany. He has also advised on critical learning education, diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and digitalization projects in China, Canada, and Europe. Since May 2025, he has been part of the LAK-FSDRIO project, supporting the coordination of the Unidas Network and initiatives related to security and the rule of law.
